our story

We are a masters club team of rowing enthusiasts who couldn't wait to get back out on the water again. A small movement to begin with, we are making things happen and bringing rowing to the Tri-Cities, TN area. We are a non-profit rowing club, located at Warriors Path State Park in Kingsport.

masters program

We currently offer a Masters membership for those with rowing experience over age 21. Currently our club has no set practice times, and is more focused on recreational rowing. You are able to sign in to check out boats to take out on the water, and practice with others at your own set time.

In the future we hope to have more structured programs, including a Juniors program.

our mission

The purpose of the organization is to unite community members in the Tri-City area with a common interest in rowing, to improve their skills and to compete in regattas and scrimmages as appropriate.

where we are

Thanks to a coordinated effort, we have recently completed an enclosure with a rack to house our boats on the beautiful grounds of Warriors Path State Park in Kingsport, TN. We are located within the park on Duck Island, where we have convenient access to the shoreline and are close to restrooms, electricity, and running water. Fort Patrick Henry Lake is a fantastic body of water to row on, as the water level stays consistent and is sheltered from the wind by the surrounding hills. It's located in a no-wake zone, and has a good amount of distance. The park is also centrally located to all areas of the Tri-Cities, something which is very important to us as we have members located all over the area.
